Description
In this video we head high into the mountains to a very remote location that in the 1870s was a prosperous mining town. Absolutely nothing remains of the town today, other than some small benched areas where our Australian pioneers once lived, worked and played.
As was often the case in these mining camps, there was a significant Chinese population in place, both miners and merchant/gardeners.
