I think I avoided doing this all these yrs because I didn't want it to reflect back to me that I was "dumb" for not having any formal education. I always felt a little less than when I compared myself to the kids who were supported enough to graduate high school and well off enough go to college.
I made the best of my situation. I tried to educate myself throughout these years to never fall behind my peers. The truth is, I far exceeded alot of them & I am kind of phenomenal for what I've been able to become, against every odd.
And today for some reason, having a little perfect test score reflected back to me in a computer screen somehow validates that a little more.
This is no longer for the new certification I hope to get, this is for teenage Darienne who DESERVED to graduate & be celebrated for her intellect. ❤️
