Description
➡️ From the past to the present: Did you know that we've established our Indian headquarters in Bengaluru in 1954, having entered the market with our first sales presence back in 1922? Today, Bosch is firmly rooted in the Indian economy, employing around 38,000 associates.
Shown in black and white in the video is our Adugodi site in Bengaluru in 1976. Comparing it to the drone shots from today, it’s almost unrecognizable. 😯 Following a major transformation between 2018 and 2022, today’s campus is not only visually impressive but also designed with sustainability and efficiency in mind. 🍃
One example is its energy supply: the majority of the site’s electricity demand is met by on-site photovoltaic systems and a solar power plant developed in partnership with a local partner. The campus also features a rainwater harvesting system that enables it to operate independently of the municipal water supply for up to eight months each year – helping conserve local water resources and benefiting surrounding communities as well. 💪
