Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game originally created for Ludum Dare 47 using HaxeFlixel. It was programmed by ninjamuffin99, features a soundtrack by Kawai Sprite, and artwork by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r. The game is free to play on Newgrounds and can also be downloaded for free from Itch.io.
The story follows Boyfriend, who is trying to win over Girlfriend. However, her ex-rockstar father, Daddy Dearest, doesn't approve of their relationship. To prove himself, Boyfriend must rap battle Daddy Dearest and every other opponent who stands in his way before he can finally be with Girlfriend.
