ZRH-GVA: Welcome to another installment of the short hop from Zurich to Geneva! The last time I took this flight it was quite empty, but this morning was a completely different story with a full cabin. I travel to Geneva occasionally for work and like to switch things up by flying instead of taking the train. When everything runs on time, it actually saves me about an hour of commute time.
The weather was typical for a December morning with low clouds and patchy fog. We departed from Runway 28, offering a fantastic view of a crowded Terminal E packed with recent red-eye arrivals. Very quickly, we punched through the gray layer and were welcomed by a beautiful rising sun.
