Description

RAVAGE (8b+/8c)

Bolted by Wenzel Vodicka and first climbed in 1986 by Antoine Le Menestrel, Ravage was considered one of the very first 8c routes in climbing history - and at the time, the hardest grade in the world. 40 years later, Katherine Choong has made the first female ascent.

« The first time I tried Ravage, I really struggled : short, brutal, polished footholds, and reachy moves, I couldn’t do most of them. On May 2nd 2026, everything finally clicked. I felt like I was flying all the way to the anchor ».
