Every podcast that talks about European health gives you the same explanation: blue zones, the Mediterranean diet, cleaner food. But the real reason Europeans live longer and stay leaner might have nothing to do with what's on their plate.

I was in Italy not long ago. Pasta every day. Gelato constantly.
Croissants for breakfast. I did not hold back. And I felt incredible.
