Description
Instead of being “the salt of the earth and the light of the world,” at times we end up living as if in a “controlled greenhouse,” driven by the fear of being contaminated by those who do not share our faith. Without realizing it, we withdraw from the world and isolate ourselves in our refuge of fear. However, if we are not able to love all people, we must ask ourselves whether we have truly understood the gospel of Jesus, who did not hesitate to draw near to sinners. Let us remember that we have been called to use the “weapons of grace,” treating with love and respect even those who think differently or oppose us.
