Can you imagine what it would have been like to be part of the crowd that shouted and worshiped Jesus on Palm Sunday? At times, we can all be like those “one-day fans”—people who laid down palm branches as Jesus passed by, expecting Him to do what they wanted, when they wanted, and how they wanted it, only to cry out for His crucifixion a week later. This is a call to reflect and to make the decision to take up our cross and follow the Lord, even in difficult moments when we have not yet received His answer.
