Today we celebrate May 9th, International Europe Day, with a rare live version of the official European anthem "Ode To Joy", Symphony No. 9 composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Although the most famous rock rendition of this famous classical piece has been done by Ritchie Blackmore under the moniker "Difficult To Cure", we shared last year one of his live versions for the Purple Friday, we share a very rare version from another neo-classical guitar maestro. Former Scorpions guitar wizard Uli Jon Roth, performed Beethoven's 9th frequently during the first tour with his solo band Electric Sun, formed in 1979 right after leaving Scorpions.
