Neste vídeo você pode conferir um pouco do making of das gravações de bateria do novo álbum MI’RAJ, com o baterista Jean Gardinalli. Foi um grande prazer gravar esse disco com o Jean, além de ser uma pessoa muito leve, muito bacana de conviver, é um baterista impressionante e, sem dúvida, um dos grandes bateristas com quem já toquei na minha história.

O Jean tem uma versatilidade incrível, muita potência tocando, uma precisão impressionante nos dois bumbos e nas viradas, e foi muito legal ver ele imprimir a identidade e as características próprias dele dentro desse projeto. Os arranjos de bateria ficaram realmente muito especiais e acredito que vão surpreender muita gente quando o álbum sair.
O som da bateria também ficou excelente. O Thiago Bianchi, mais uma vez, conseguiu tirar o melhor som possível da bateria no Fusão Estúdio, em São Paulo. Ele já tinha feito um grande trabalho no Vera Cruz, e nesse disco ele novamente se superou.
O álbum está ficando muito especial, com muitas ideias novas, e estou muito feliz com o resultado que estamos alcançando.

In this video, you can check out part of the behind-the-scenes footage from the drum recording sessions for the new album MI’RAJ, featuring drummer Jean Gardinalli. It was a real pleasure recording this album with Jean, besides being an easygoing and great person to work with, he’s an outstanding drummer and, without a doubt, one of the best I’ve ever played with in my career.
He absolutely crushes it on the kit, we got an incredible drum sound!
Jean brings remarkable versatility, powerful playing, and impressive precision on the double bass and fills. It was great to see him bring his own identity and signature style into this project. The drum arrangements turned out truly special, and I believe they will surprise a lot of people when the album is released.
The drum sound itself came out excellent. Thiago Bianchi once again managed to capture the best possible tone at Fusão Estúdio in São Paulo. He had already done an outstanding job on Vera Cruz, and on this album, he has clearly surpassed himself once again.
The album is shaping up to be something very special, with many fresh ideas, and I’m extremely happy with the results we’re achieving.
