What is the difference between a green Eclectus and a red Eclectus? Green Eclectus Parrots are male and red Eclcetus Parrots are female. They are dimorphic and easy to tell apart. In fact, you might not even realize they are the same species because they appear so different.
Wild Eclectus Parrots live in Oceania, the region between Southeast Asia and Australia. Pet Eclectus Parrots are known to be more relaxed and mellow. They have some but limited talking ability but they can be quite noisy.
