For filmmaker, photographer and conservation storyteller Sandesh Kadur, the camera has always been a tool for helping people to connect with the natural world.
Sandesh’s work has grown into a mission to use visual storytelling for conservation, education and awareness. From documenting the wildlife and landscapes of the Western Ghats, to creating films, books and education projects that have reached schools and communities across India.
His documentaries have also helped support the Western Ghats being declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site — showing how powerful storytelling can play a role in protecting vital ecosystems.
Sandesh brings nature closer to the next generation, helping young people see it not just as something to learn about, but something to love and protect.
