A busy bank holiday weekend get away. Friday 1st May, also officially the first day of the summer season for many destinations across Europe. This was onboard EasyJet flight EZY2335 from Luton down to Malaga, Spain. An early morning departure of 6:15, although we took off about 30 mins late due to a slot delay. I didn’t include much of the taxi / engine start due to a screaming kid a few rows behind.
Took off from Luton on RWY07, so in an easterly direction into the morning sun, creating some incredible lighting on the engine as we take off and climb out. Beautiful clear skies allow for some stunning views as well across the countryside.
Flew down over the south coast, towards France, the Bay of Biscay and then northern Spain and right down the middle of Mainland Spain before starting our descent over the hills & into Malaga. Again during the approach some great lighting, shining on the wing & engine.
