With severe weather in the forecast Monday, EAA AirVenture organizers say they have plans in place.
If attendees need to seek shelter during severe weather, alarms on the EAA grounds will sound off.
People can seek shelter in several hangars or inside the EAA Museum.
There will also be buses driving around the campground areas to pick up campers and bring them to a safe shelter space.
EAA has partnered with area schools to provide extra indoor space if needed.
Organizers encourage visitors to download the AirVenture app that will show where the emergency shelters on the grounds are.
You can also text ‘OSHALERT’ to 1-855-485-5674 – you will receive a text to your phone if you need to seek shelter.
