Like the original Decathlon RJG 1.2m, it’s a replica of the aviation icon that’s flown by professional pilots in airshows and pilots learning to fly aerobatics at their local airport. It’s factory-finished with the popular and extremely recognizable red, white, and black “starburst” trim scheme, plus it features a variety of scale details, including functional LED landing and navigation lights, wheel pants, and wing struts. The one-piece wing is easy to install/remove thanks to hands-free connections and thumbscrews, and the struts snap into/out of place without the need for any fasteners or tools – even though it’s conveniently sized to be easy to store and transport without disassembly! Improved digital and metal-geared servos, along with ball-link equipped linkages, provide even more precise and reliable control for smooth sport to aggressive aerobatic flying. Both versions feature a 3S and 4S 2200–3200mAh compatible power system, including a 45-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite ESC. The BNF Basic version is also equipped with an upgraded AR631+ receiver to deliver real-time telemetry data, enhanced AS3X+, optional-use SAFE Select and motor reversing, and a convenient Smart Transmitter File.
