Here is one of the Maxx. One of the coolest characters from the 90's' comics era by the late great Sam Kieth.
Sam Kieth's art always inspired me to let go and just create something cool and new. He had such a freedom to his work. I have always admired it and tried to learn from it.
I often tense up trying to figure things out where his work always appeared to be so energetic and visceral. He truly put a bit of magic in every piece.
I remember reading the Maxx for the first time and thinking, Wow! This character and his world are absolutely insane. It was a surreal experience that I can't say many comics came even close to.
