Description
Subnautica 2 gameplay continues in Episode 6, where I finally track down the alien ruins I missed on a previous dive. After grabbing the Tadpole's wing upgrade, I backtrack to a wreck I somehow overlooked, unlock a repair tool I really could've used earlier, and trigger a creepy AI ghost log from a survivor named Sophie Butcher that fills in some unsettling backstory on the Proteus virus and a sentient "world tree."
From there it's a deep dive into alien tech: powering up an electroformed door, scanning Rosetta Stone-style alien writing for translation upgrades, surviving a swarm of aggressive Needlers, and grinding out new Tadpole upgrades — Engine Efficiency, Strike Armor, and a Depth Module — to push further into the ruins next episode.
