QUESTION: Would I recommend using a tripod for every studio session?
ANSWER: 100% No!
That doesn't mean I don't recommend them at all, far from it. If you need consistency in your images a tripod in the studio is unbeatable. Same framing, same lighting, same editing photo after photo.
But if you prefer a more dynamic style of working a tripod isn't going to help, it's going to hinder. The faster you (or your model) likes to move around the studio, the less helpful a tripod becomes!
