DNA vs Computer Code

Description

There are many similarities to the genetic found in DNA and simple forms of machine code found in computers. This is especially true to old punched tape computer systems such as the ones Bell Labs used to use, and similar systems from the old Soviet Union. I'm told punched tape systems are still used at several power plants in the Ukraine. If it ain't broke, don't upgrade it!

Here I show how mutational hotspots worked in old computer systems. Similar issues exist in DNA.
