Description
The Islamic critique of the Trinity often hinges on the accusation of shirk, or associating partners with God. But GodLogic shows how this argument crumbles under closer examination. If the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one in essence, then Jesus’ command to baptize in the name of all three does not divide God but reveals His triune nature. But for the Muslim, God can have no 'partners', since Allah is strictly 'one'. So Jesus could not have been a Muslim, because he commits 'Shirk' by equating himself and the Holy Spirit with God almighty, and thus demonstrates that either Jesus is God incarnate, or he is a blasphemer. Either way, Muslims can no longer say that Christ's divinity and the trinity are not seen in scripture.
