Description
I have a heavy stuff problem... but luckily I also have a heavy piece of machinery that can help me lift all that heavy stuff. This project invovles designing and building a jib crane arm for my mini skid steer. I had a lot of fun plasma cutting, welding, and fabricating this piece to be exactly what I needed. Use a mini skid steer to clear heavy metal clutter from your shop floor. See how moving large tools becomes easier with this machine.
My workshop was becoming unmanageable due to heavy metal items and scattered tools taking up valuable space. This video demonstrates how I use a mini skid steer to reorganize the layout and clear floor space efficiently. Whether you struggle with heavy equipment moving or need a better way to handle shop cleanup, this project offers a practical solution for managing a cluttered workspace.
Beyond simply moving items, I walk through the welding projects required to prepare the machinery for daily tasks. You will see the metal fabrication steps involved in getting the skid steer ready for outdoor work. If you have similar space constraints in your own shop, this approach might offer the efficiency you need to regain control of your workspace.
