What is TRUE GIVING?
True giving is giving without expecting anything in return.
When your givingโto your family, friends, or the people around youโcomes with a desire to be appreciated, to be liked, or to please the world or the people you loveโฆ then youโre not really giving. Youโre actually INVESTING. Why? Because youโre expecting a return on investment (ROI).
But true giving has no expectations, no demands, no conditions.
Now, hereโs the issue,
When you give without expecting anything in return, thereโs a possibility that you end up drained. You become like a candle that burns out over time.
So what should we do to avoid being emptied when TRULY giving?
Itโs simple.
