The 2024 DALMAC bike tour was the first year to add a gravel option. The first two days were great but north of Gladwin there are a lot of really sandy roads that are very tough riding and we ran into some of them in 2024. I'm volunteering to help improve the route for 2025 and that involved a trip up north to go ride some roads and confirm the conditions.
We'll be adding dedicated rest stops on the gravel route and additional SAG support. And (almost) all of the toughest, sandiest roads have been removed.
