Use any size yarn and any size hook for this pattern, Worked sideways. I used ww yarn and a 6 mm hook. Begin with a foundation chain that is the finished length for your shrug, from the neck to the waist (or shorter for a cropped shrug). Then work a ONE ROW REPEAT, until the rectangle is the length needed for your shrug sleeves to be, for example from elbow to elbow. Then fold in half, and sew short 3 to 4 inch seams at each end to form the sleeves. Weave yarn ends into the finished work, and the shrug is finished!
