Compress the golf ball better with this simple drill. ⛳️
Place a golf ball—or any object—on the ground and imagine a line extending from it. Then, use a towel (or your club) to lightly brush the ground along that line. You’ll naturally feel your weight shift, your swing arc narrow, and your hands move farther ahead of the ball.
It’s a simple athletic move you’ll see in sports like baseball and tennis, and it’s one of the easiest ways to improve shaft lean and create more solid, compressed contact.
