One of the most important things you can do as a Compassion sponsor is write to and encourage your child. We just had lunch with some former Compassion kids who are now adults and thriving. I loved what Phillip, who is studying to be a veterinarian, said:
"You believed that one day I would do something great. I am really working to become the person you have always believed I had the capacity to become. Thank you very much!"
So we spent time today at the heart of the Compassion program - The "Mail Room"
