Description
A Riverside County sheriff's emergency response team uses tear gas and a stinger grenade to breach the cell of Christopher Zumwalt, 40, at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning in October 2020. Zumwalt, who had removed his clothing and was acting erratically, was restrained in a chair with his hands tied behind his back and had a spit mask placed over his face. After lapsing into unconsciousness, he died two days later at a hospital.
