Learn about the Careers in Hematology Advancement Mentorship Program (CHAMP), a yearlong opportunity for first and second year pediatric and adult hematology oncology fellows who are pursuing careers in classical hematology. Through a combination of virtual and in person components, CHAMP connects trainees with experienced external mentors to provide guidance, build skills, and expand professional networks, particularly for those at institutions where classical hematology mentorship may be limited. In this video, you will hear from JJ Strouse, MD, a CHAMP mentor, Bria Carrithers, MD, a CHAMP mentee, Soo Park, MD, CHAMP Co Director, and Alfred Lee, MD, PhD, CHAMP Co Director, as they share their perspectives on the value of mentorship and how CHAMP helps shape the future of the field.
