In this video, we answer that exact question by mocking up a 10-foot 3-inch by 11-foot bedroom right in our studio! To keep things completely realistic, we even taped off the dimensions of a full-size IKEA bed to see exactly what equipment you can fit alongside it.
What We Cover in This Video:
The Blueprint: We show you how to fit a Signature Pro 16 by 20-inch heat press into a small space. It sits on a heavy-duty universal heat press stand that features handy storage space underneath and wheels so you can easily roll it around.
Printed Transfers: This method requires minimal upfront investment because all you really need is your heat press to start making money. You can order custom direct-to-film, screen print, puff, and SupaColor hybrid transfers as your customers place their orders.
Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV): Vinyl is highly affordable and allows you to run a truly on-demand business. It creates super durable designs with colors that will not fade over time.
Sublimation: This permanent, zero-feel method is perfect for white polyester t-shirts, coffee mugs, license plates, and photo panels. We highlight excellent compact printers for small spaces, like the Sawgrass SG1000, Sawgrass SG500, and the Epson F170.
White Toner DTF: This zero-maintenance, dry toner system requires no messy liquid inks or adhesive powders. It is the most versatile option for a bedroom setup, allowing you to quickly press full-color graphics onto dark cotton garments and hard surfaces.
