It’s a bittersweet day for us. While we are celebrating 16 years of marriage today, we’re also heading to the neurologist to find answers for Jasmine’s intense trigeminal neuralgia pain. Being in the first trimester of pregnancy means she can’t take her usual medication, and seeing her struggle to even eat has been one of the hardest parts of this journey so far.
We’re hoping for good news, but preparing for the reality of what managing this pain looks like while the baby grows.
Despite the stress, the kids managed to keep us laughing (as usual!). Between the "ashy ankle" emergency at the doctor's office, the "sperm with legs" jokes, and Ellie’s thoughts on marriage and mangoes, there’s never a dull moment with the Laras.
