In this video, I compare two different types of power supplies for a DC water pump: the computer (ATX) power supply and the plastic body power supply.
We conducted a practical test to check the ampere load of both supplies while running the motor. The results show a clear difference in performance. We also analyzed the repairability of both units; while spare parts for computer ATX supplies are often hard to find or difficult to repair properly, the plastic body power supply is much easier to repair as its spare parts are readily available in the market.
