35 years ago in November 1990, Pet Shop Boys released “Being boring” as the second single from their fourth studio album, “Behaviour”. The song was inspired by a party invitation from Neil’s Newcastle days which quoted Zelda Fitzgerald’s line “She was never bored, mainly because she was never boring”.
