It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 10 years since we started Trying Not to Sink. Nearly 300 videos later, we’ve shared anchorages, breakdowns, budget numbers, sunsets, storms, and just about every corner of life aboard our boat.
But there’s still a lot you don’t see.
In this video, we’re pulling back the curtain and sharing 10 things that happen behind the scenes — the arguments that never make it on camera (mostly because I’m off somewhere sulking), the late-night bilge alarms when dignity becomes optional, the lost sunglasses sacrificed to Neptune, the forgotten memory cards, the 14 takes it sometimes takes to say one simple line, and the skinny-dipping background “extras” that definitely require creative editing.
