That means performance testing every Stock Saw down to a few watts of difference. Running diagnostic software to verify engine management data. Breaking in each saw before competition day - just to be certain.
And it's not just the saws. His team keeps the stage clean between heats, supports wood preparation, and makes sure the entire technical operation runs without a hitch. Some of them are apprentices - young STIHL talent who earned their spot here through standout performance throughout the year. After many years, Jörg still calls World Championship days holidays. Because for him, it's not just a technical mission - it's a family reunion.
