Come behind the scenes of “Fabric of America: Our Fashions, Textiles, and Technologies” to see how The Henry Ford dressed dozens of mannequins in historical clothing for this one-of-a-kind exhibition. Thank you to Jennifer Nieling of JLN Costume Mounting for helping us to ensure each piece had the perfect fit for display.

“Fabric of America” is open through September 13, 2026, at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. This retrospective on 250 years of American history features 500+ rarely seen pieces of clothing, textiles and machinery from The Henry Ford’s collections. Learn more at THF.org/fabric.
