Description
The Bechowiec-1 was a rare Polish submachine gun created by the underground Bataliony Chłopskie resistance during World War II.
Designed in 1943 by the self-taught gunsmith Henryk Strąpoć, it was produced in secret workshops under German occupation. Its unusual construction combined features associated with both submachine guns and semi-automatic pistols.
Only a small number were completed, and just one Bechowiec-1 is known to survive today.
Discover its history, internal mechanism, operation, and detailed 3D disassembly in World of Guns.
