Bangladesh Floods: Severe Monsoon Disaster Leaves Millions Stranded
Days of torrential monsoon rains have triggered floods and landslides across southeastern Bangladesh, killing at least 51 people and leaving over 1 million residents stranded. Homes have been destroyed, businesses lost, roads ruined, crops damaged and drinking water is inaccessible for the residents of 300,000+ people affected. Thousands of homes destroyed. Clean drinking water desperately needed.
