A nice view of the big Halifax bound stack train in the morning golden light!
An awesome bird's eye view of a very long intermodal stacktrain CN Z120 (Toronto, ON BIT to Halifax, NS Pace Yard) powered by Canadian National Railway locomotives 3151 (Tier 4 ET44AC Gevo), 3403 (ex C44-9W rebuilt AC44C6M), 2986 (ES44AC Tier 3 Credit Gevo), and mid-train DPU 8301 (ex SD75I rebuilt EMD SD75IACC) eastbound approaching Upper Dorchester, NB at track speed (55 mph) hauling 152 cars (9793 feet / 452 axles) of double and single stack intermodal containers (145 platforms), and seven tankcars towards the middle of the 2 mile long train.
Filmed at 6:40am, Tuesday May 5, 2026 at about mile 102.1 of the CN Springhill Subdivision using my DJI Mini 3 quadcopter drone.
