PART 1 – ROAD TRIP: NASHVILLE ➝ INDIANAPOLIS 🇺🇸
What happens when a bunch of Aussies land in the US with one mission… and end up doing it in an FPV F6 Falcon?
With plans locked in for Summit in the USA, I teamed up with Mez from Barra The World, and Sarah & Brett from All Trade Automotive. Thanks to our good mate Kelly in Nashville, we were trusted with something seriously special… his FPV F6 Falcon.
And honestly… that meant everything.
This wasn’t just a rental car or some throwaway daily. This is a car we know. A car we love. A car that represents home. Getting to experience the US behind the wheel of something like that made the whole trip hit different.

THE CHAOS STARTS EARLY…
I landed first… and immediately hit a snag.
No luggage.
For a day and a half.
Not ideal… but that’s travel sometimes.
One by one the crew rolled in. @rocheyyyy and his mate Jayce arrived next, followed much later that night by Mez, Sarah, and Brett. Once everyone was together, it was time to get moving.

HEADING NORTH
Before hitting the road, we did a bit of parts hunting at Kelly’s place (because of course we did), but we also managed to sneap in a local Cars & Coffee event, as well as having somewhat of a VERY late night down Nashville's famous Broadway!
Then it was time.
Nashville ➝ Indianapolis.
Rolling through:
• Bowling Green, Kentucky
• Louisville, Kentucky
• And most importantly… a MASSIVE Buc-ee’s stop (yes… we tried the brisket 😅)

INDIANAPOLIS & THE REAL WORK BEGINS
When we arrived in Indy, we were welcomed by Travis Bell and his team at the Outback in the Midwest property.
Absolute legends.
Travis opened up his workshop, tools, everything… which turned out to be critical.
Because the Falcon needed some love.
We tackled:
• Failed harmonic balancer + seal
• Upgraded dump pipe & catalytic converter
• Fuel pump upgrade
• 1000cc injectors
• Haltech ECU install
I’d love to say I built the car…
…but let’s be honest, I filmed most of it while Brett handled the heavy lifting, with Mez backing him up. I did my part running around chasing bits and organising what we needed to keep things moving.
Big thanks to Dennis King from Redline Tuning as well, who hooked us up with his Dynojet dyno to get everything dialled in properly.

Once the car was sorted and tuned, we were officially back on track.
And this is where the trip really starts to get interesting…
