A massive kangaroo stood guard on a sidewalk in Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, recently posted viral footage shows.
TikTok user @veronicadownunder shared this footage of the marsupial flexing his muscles and appearing to protect his mob. The video, which she captioned “Aussie neighborhood watch,” received more than three million views, with social media users stunned by the size of the kangaroo.
“The TikTok video is a compilation of several clips, but the footage that went viral and captured people’s attention was the opening clip, where the large kangaroo is standing on the footpath,” the source told Storyful.
“The kangaroo was actually regurgitating and re-chewing partially digested food, which is a normal digestive behaviour for kangaroos.”
