Description
The further developed infotainment system in the new Q7 is even clearer and more user-centric. The Audi MMI panoramic display – featuring a curved design and OLED technology – comprises the Audi virtual cockpit and the MMI touch display. The passenger display with distraction-free dynamic privacy mode is standard equipment. A head-up display is available as an option, projecting important information such as speed, speed limits, and navigation arrows directly into the driver's field of vision.
Customers gain access to a wide range of apps via the Audi Application Store, which do not require a smartphone. At launch, applications from the following categories are available for the Q7: music, video, gaming, navigation, parking and charging, productivity, weather, and news services. The store is continuously being expanded, and the app portfolio is tailored to specific markets.
Numerous vehicle functions can be controlled using the self-learning voice assistant, ""Audi assistant."" The Audi assistant automatically recognizes whether a vehicle function should be executed, a destination searched for, or, for example, a weather forecast retrieved. Only when the Audi system cannot answer general questions are they forwarded to ChatGPT. This happens seamlessly for users, as all functions are integrated into the Audi assistant. An optional factory-installed dashcam system records the view from the windshield, providing documentation in the event of an incident.
