"We're just celebrating 250 years of our country," one attendee told me on line for the Freedom 250 kickoff event on the National Mall, where President Trump will be speaking this evening. "I think we've needed this for a while."
"If anyone can put on something big and elaborate, Donald J. Trump can!" another told me.
"He has restored the border, closed the border, safer, schools are better, the environment is better, more jobs," an immigrant from Vietnam told me. "America is getting younger!"
A Marine veteran on line for the Freedom 250 event tells News2Share "I was wounded in battle, I was decorated for heroism," but that "all patriots are patriots, you don't have to serve in the military to be a patriot."
"I don't know of a bigger patriot than President Donald Trump, he was wounded for this country just like I was. If there's a man that deserves a Medal of Honor, it's Donald J. Trump."
