At the time of this event Arsenal Women were riding high, the FIFA Champions Cup holders and statistically the most successful club in English women's football. The panel features Gill Sayell, a ‘Lost Lioness’ who played for the very first Arsenal womens’ team; Kirsty Pealling who, at the time of her retirement in 2006 was the club's longest serving player, the record appearance holder and had won the most trophies, and all-time great, 129-England-capped Rachel Yankey.

This event took place as part of Football Writing Festival: Arsenal Special – a day of talks, conversations and fun all about the British Library’s ‘local team’, Arsenal FC, currently favourites to win the Premier League. The event was co curated by Harshad Mistry and presented in association with Springboard Pictures.
