TAYLOR SWIFT'S WEDDING
Taylor Swift. Travis Kelce. Getting married this weekend - or are they? Well, according to all these reports, yes, they are. You see, The New York Times reported that permits were requested for a large event at Madison Square Garden this weekend, with barricades put up and signs flagging street closures in the area. It's been speculated that approximately 1,000 guests will be in attendance. Not me though, wasn't invited. Shocking, I know. But a lot of A-list celebrities were spotted arriving in the area, along with reports Taylor had also arrived at the venue hours before. But this is where things get interesting; rumour has it that the wedding has already happened, with many reporting the two have already exchanged vows in a more intimate private ceremony, and there were fireworks lit up at her house on the 20th of June - suspicious. It's why many reckon this elaborate Madison Square Garden ceremony could all just be a big bluff. So whether it's happened, or happening, only time will fill in that blank space. Get it, like her song Blank Space. Yeah, never mind.
AMERICA'S 250TH BIRTHDAY
America is celebrating a big birthday tomorrow! The Fourth of July marks 250 years since the country was founded. You see, it was in 1766 that 13 American colonies separated from Great Britain to form a new, independent nation! So, rehearsals are underway, and everything is getting decked out in red white and blue for big celebrations across the country tomorrow.
8-YEAR-OLD GOLFER
This is Rianna, and at just eight years old, she's been invited to compete in the Kids Golf World Championships next month. She only competed in her first tournament last year, and is now off to play on the world stage, along with her dad as the caddy. The US Kids Golf World Championship is where kids aged 5-12 compete against some of the best junior golfers for 3 days. For a long time, golf has been a male-dominated sport, but now, girls are playing more than ever. For the next few weeks, Rianna's going to be locked into practice, even when there are some downsides. While the goal is to be the best at the comp, she says she also wants to inspire other girls to give it a go.
HIGH HEELS RACE
First to Madrid, for this year's high heel race. Competitors ran 100 metres on cobbled streets, with many taping their ankles for a bit of stability, which is all part of the city's Pride week celebrations.
LEGO F1 CARS
Now to the UK, for a glimpse at these LEGO F1 cars that actually work! Come the British Grand Prix, the cars will actually be driven by real f1 drivers.
LOSER CAFE
And finally to this cafe in Mexico, set up to comfort losers. Okay, by losers, we're talking World Cup fan's who's teams have lost, and frankly, I hope no Aussies have to go there tomorrow.
