"Alice in Wonderland" Jazz Waltz Bass Line
"Alice in Wonderland" is a very popular Jazz Standard by Sammy Fain, originally composed for the Disney animated film, "Alice in Wonderland" (1951). It's played occasionally on gigs and jam sessions, and is therefore, fundamental Jazz repertoire for all Jazz musicians. In this bass line I present a collection of my favorite techniques, methods and approaches for playing walking bass lines. These ideas can be applied to any and all future tunes.
