Welcome to the Ancient Realm of 'Echo', the setting for an upcoming colossus style game being designed and built using the Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) by Scurvy Games. Directed by Pearson Rice, with wonderful music composed by Greyson Shaw.
In this action adventure game, you can explore the realm, gather equipment, weapons, as well as special and enchanted items. 'Tithe' at wishing wells to receive 'Blessings' (gear, items, weapons) and encounter incredible foes both large and small.
The atmosphere is heavily inspired by the works of Fumito Ueda, and I'm honoured to have been invited by Pearson to explore this world and to collaborate with him on various ideas based on my long experience with the Team ICO games : )
According to Pearson, colossi 'are' planned! Right now, the art is in the concept stage and ground work has been made on modeling, rigging, animation and weight painting. When they ship the demo, the aim is to ship it with 3-4 colossi, in addition to an expanse of ground level enemies that protect the realm.
The devs are hard at work and looking forward to giving everyone a chance to step foot into the realm soon!
