As we approach Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaAtzmaut, we remember those we have lost, and we pray for the safety of those currently standing guard.
Earlier this season I was privileged to return to Carnegie Hall and join an extraordinary powerhouse of talent, including Amy Schumer, David Schwimmer, Debra Messing, Noa Tishby, Julianna Margulies, David Draiman, Michael Aloni, Rona-Lee Shimon and Matisyahu - in a program titled "Letters, Light, and Love" - supporting the rebuilding of Kibbutz Be'eri.
May the week ahead bring us closer to the peace we pray for in every song.
