The 2026 Ford F350 XL STX package is an incredible value, but it definitely leaves room for improvement if you want that premium look and feel. In this video, I'm breaking down the top 5 modifications I did to our Super Duty to transform the styling, capability, and interior comfort!
From fixing the SuperCab floor mat issue to OEM technology upgrades, here is everything we changed to make this truck look and feel like a high-trim Lariat or Tremor.

🔥 MOD 1: Toyo Open Country R/T Trail (295/65R20)
The stock tires on the STX look way too small for this huge truck. We upgraded to the Toyo R/T Trail in a 295/65R20. It fills out the wheel wells perfectly without needing a leveling kit, and gives us that perfect hybrid performance—aggressive mud-terrain looks with a quiet, smooth highway ride.
🔒 MOD 2: Retrax Retractable Bed Cover
To secure our gear and improve aerodynamics, we added a Retrax bed cover. The flush, low-profile design looks incredible on the aluminum Super Duty bed, and the ability to lock it in any position makes it the ultimate utility upgrade.
✂️ MOD 3: Tremor-Style Front Air Dam Trim
Ford’s factory air dam on the 2026 F350 is massive and ruins the ground clearance/truck stance. We took a jigsaw and trimmed the factory air dam down to mimic the high-clearance Tremor look. (Note: If you don't want to cut yours, S&B Filters makes a great, clean, smaller replacement air dam!)
📺 MOD 4: OEM Plus Upgrades 12-Inch Screen Swap
The factory 8-inch screen in the XL STX leaves a lot to be desired. We used a full kit from OEM Plus Upgrades to swap it out for the massive factory 12-inch screen. This isn't a cheap aftermarket dash kit—it uses all genuine Ford factory parts, retaining 100% of your factory features while completely transforming the interior feel.
🥾 MOD 5: Husky Liners Weatherproof Mats (SuperCab Carpet Fix!)
Because the STX package forces you into a carpeted interior, keeping it clean is a nightmare. To make matters worse, Ford does NOT manufacture factory all-weather mats for the SuperCab configuration. We solved this with Husky Liners. They fit perfectly over the factory carpet, offering total coverage for dirty boots and tools.
