Pinch of sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch, for slurry
3 tablespoons water, for slurry
1 tablespoon cooking oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced

For the sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 teaspoon cornstarch, for slurry
1 tablespoon water, for slurry

For the stir-fry
2 tablespoons cooking oil, divided
1 cup broccoli
½ small carrot, thinly sliced
1 cup snap peas
3/4 cup bean sprouts
